Winged Sets and the Discard Tube

The idea
A winged collection set has tubing that holds air.
In practice
When a light blue coagulation tube is the first tube needed through a winged set, a discard tube is drawn first to fill the tubing, so the coagulation tube receives its full amount.
Where people slip
The discard tube is thrown away, not sent to the lab.
