Subject and Predicate Terms

The subject term names the first class; the predicate term names the second.

"All senators are citizens" — subject: senators; predicate: citizens.
Watch for
Terms are class nouns, not grammar-book subjects. "Are citizens" isn't the term — "citizens" is.
