Leading AI at Work: Governance, Rollout and Practice / Unit 2 LAI 033 worked example, 60 to 90 seconds
Days Forty-One to Sixty: Tracing Gold Things
The idea
Days forty-one to sixty add traceability for the one or two things that matter most.
In practice
Step one: choose one or two things that are legally sensitive, financially significant, or critical to safety or trust. Step two: build a traceability matrix for each, with rows for policies, cards, data, screens, reports, tests and procedures. Step three: use AI and search to find references, then validate the matrix with architecture and IT, testing, and policy and operations staff. Step four: walk the current system against the matrix to find gaps, inconsistencies and drift. Step five: try AI patterns that cross-check Packs, cards and matrix entries against each other, and record which ones help.
Where people slip
The book's deliverable for day sixty is a matrix the team can use immediately in change discussions. A complete matrix nobody consults is a worse result than a partial one in daily use.
