Leading AI at Work: Governance, Rollout and Practice / Unit 1 LAI 016 worked example, 60 to 90 seconds
Fitting the Method Into Backlogs and Wikis
The idea
The book gives practical patterns for fitting the method into the backlog and the wiki a team already keeps.
In practice
Step one: add a field or tag for the primary thing on each story. Step two: in acceptance criteria, cite card identifiers, as in the book's example, must meet two named Case cards. Step three: group backlog items by thing for impact analysis and release planning, so the team can say this sprint hits the Case and the Determination heavily. Step four: in the wiki, give Packs a section of their own, with one page per thing. Step five: keep each traceability matrix as a table on its thing's page, or linked from it. Step six: link architecture diagrams, policy pages and interface documents to the relevant Packs, so that a reader who starts anywhere can reach the thing.
Where people slip
The patterns work only if they are used consistently. A tag on half the stories is worse than none, because the missing half looks like work that touches nothing.
