Evidence-Based Practice / Unit 1 EBP 0004 short lesson, about 20 seconds
What Evidence Is
Captions available
The idea
Evidence is a collection of facts believed to be true.
In practice
Findings from published studies, and data from a unit's own records, both counting as evidence.
Where people slip
Believed to be true is deliberate wording. Evidence is the best current account of something, not certainty about it, and it is revised when better facts arrive.
