Evidence-Based Practice / Unit 12 EBP 1653 short lesson, about 20 seconds
Obligation One — Own It
Captions available
The idea
The first obligation is that leaders own their responsibility to lead evidence-based practice across the organization rather than delegating it to a committee or a department.
In practice
A leader naming EBP as their own accountability in front of the organization.
Where people slip
Delegated ownership is the commonest form of not owning it. A council can carry the work; it cannot carry the responsibility.
