Evidence-Based Practice / Unit 2 EBP 0161 short lesson, about 20 seconds
The Foreground Question
Captions available
The idea
A foreground question is specific and searchable, and when answered provides evidence for a clinical decision.
In practice
A question about whether one intervention changes an outcome compared with another.
Where people slip
Specific does not mean narrow. A foreground question can cover a broad population and still be specific in form.
