Evidence-Based Practice / Unit 9   EBP 1211 short lesson, about 20 seconds

EBP Readiness

The idea

EBP readiness is the extent to which an organization is prepared to implement and sustain evidence-based practice before any particular change is attempted.

In practice

Readiness assessed ahead of a rollout rather than inferred from its result.

Where people slip

Readiness is measurable and is usually assumed instead. A failed implementation in an unready setting says nothing about the evidence.
