The arbitrariness objection: ethical egoism splits humanity into self and everyone else, and treating the groups differently requires a relevant difference nobody has produced.

Ask the egoist what makes her interests weightier than her neighbor's. "They are mine" names the owner, not a difference that could justify the split.
