Bias in Sources

Captions available

The idea

A biased source presents a subject from a slanted perspective, through what it includes, omits or emphasizes.

In practice

Signs of bias include omitting relevant points, presenting opinion as fact, and evidence that only one side could find persuasive.

Where people slip

Bias does not always disqualify a source; it means reading it with awareness and balancing it with others.
