The One-to-One Property of Logarithms
This video presents the same text shown beside it, spoken and on screen. It adds nothing the text does not say.
State
The one-to-one property of logarithms says equal logs with one base force equal inputs: log_b(M) = log_b(N) means M = N.
Show
log₂(x + 1) = log₂(9) collapses to x + 1 = 9, so x = 8 — and 9 is safely positive, so the answer stands.
