K Depends Only on Temperature

This video presents the same text shown beside it, spoken and on screen. It adds nothing the text does not say.

State

A given reaction's equilibrium constant has one value at a given temperature and changes only if temperature changes, regardless of starting concentrations or pressure.

Show

Starting a reaction with pure reactants or with a mixture of reactants and products yields the same K at a fixed temperature.

Watch for

Adding more reactant shifts concentrations at equilibrium, but it does not change K itself.
