Reading a Constitutional Citation

This video presents the same text shown beside it, spoken and on screen. It adds nothing the text does not say.

State

A constitutional citation names article, section, and clause — "Article I, Section 8, Clause 3" — or names an amendment by ordinal.

Show

"First Amendment" and "Art. I, §8, cl. 3" each point to exact constitutional text.

Watch for

A claim about the Constitution without a citation is a claim without a receipt.
