The idea
Predicting within the range of the data is interpolation; predicting beyond it is extrapolation, which is less reliable because the trend may not continue.
In practice
Data for 1 to 6 hours of study supports a prediction at 4 hours, not at 20.
Where people slip
Outside the data, a good line can turn absurd: at 20 hours it predicts 110.
