Principles of Macroeconomics / Unit 2 MAC 0102 short lesson, about 20 seconds
Demand and Quantity Demanded
Captions available
The idea
Demand is the whole relationship between price and the amount buyers are willing and able to buy. Quantity demanded is the amount at one particular price.
In practice
A schedule lists the pairs; a curve draws them, with price on the vertical axis.
Where people slip
Willing is not enough. Without the ability to pay there is no demand a seller can act on.
