Arkansas in June eighteen sixty-eight, and Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina and North Carolina that same month.
Where people slip
Virginia, Mississippi and Texas returned in eighteen seventy, and Georgia last in July of that year. Tennessee had returned in eighteen sixty-six.
