Evidence-Based Practice / Unit 3 EBP 0332 short lesson, about 20 seconds
Grey Literature
Captions available
The idea
Grey literature is evidence that has not been included in the databases clinicians routinely search.
In practice
A dissertation, a conference paper, a government report, none of them indexed.
Where people slip
Unindexed is not unpublished and not worthless. It is evidence a database search structurally cannot return, which makes its absence invisible.
