Evidence-Based Practice / Unit 22 EBP 3159 short lesson, about 20 seconds
A Question Has to Be Ethical
Captions available
The idea
A research question must not present unacceptable physical or psychological risk to the people in the study, which constrains what may be asked.
In practice
A question redesigned because answering it as framed would harm participants.
Where people slip
This constrains the science. Some answerable questions are not askable, and that limits the evidence base rather than flawing it.
