Evidence-Based Practice / Unit 21 EBP 3032 short lesson, about 20 seconds
Who Speaks for the Work
Captions available
The idea
An organisation designates who may speak to the media for it, so a clinician approached directly routes the request rather than answering it.
In practice
A reporter calling a ward directly, and the nurse who takes the number and passes it to communications.
Where people slip
Answering helpfully can commit an organisation to a position nobody agreed. Routing is not evasion.
