The Disagreement Problem

The idea
If moral statements only report attitudes, two people who differ about an action never contradict each other — and moral disagreement becomes impossible to state.
In practice
One senator says the tariff is unjust, another says it is fair. As attitude reports, both are true, and the debate dissolves into autobiography.
