A central atom with six electron domains and no lone pairs adopts an octahedral geometry, with every position equivalent at 90° from its neighbors.

Don't picture six domains as a flat hexagon with 120° angles; the octahedron is three-dimensional, with all six positions genuinely 90° apart.
