Meiosis II, Overview
This video presents the same text shown beside it, spoken and on screen. It adds nothing the text does not say.
State
Meiosis II divides each haploid cell from meiosis I again, separating sister chromatids much as mitosis does, without another round of DNA replication.
Show
A cell entering meiosis II with 23 duplicated chromosomes exits with 23 single chromosomes per daughter cell.
Watch for
Meiosis II resembles mitosis in its stages, but it starts from a haploid cell, not a diploid one.
