The Rows Carry Fingerprints

The idea
Embeddings built from text carry the text's associations, flattering and ugly alike — company-kept statistics record how people write, not how things are.
In practice
A weather word may sit near delay and cancellation; words for groups of people sit near whatever the pile said.
Where people slip
The ruler was made from data, so data's fingerprints mark the ruler itself — Unit 10 collects the bill.
