The Arithmetic of Ninety-Eight Minutes
Captions available
The idea
Eighty questions in ninety-eight minutes gives about seventy-three seconds each. Passages carry three or four questions, so a passage and its questions together can have four to five minutes. A passage that has taken seven minutes is taking them from somewhere else.
In practice
Seventy-three seconds a question.
Where people slip
One slow passage costs three others.
