Captions available

The idea

The eighteenth and nineteenth centuries carry thirty to forty percent of the exam, level with the twentieth and twenty-first. Between them the two modern bands account for most of the paper, and a candidate who prepares only the older material has prepared the smaller share.

In practice

Thirty to forty percent, tied for heaviest.

Where people slip

The older material is the smaller share.
