"The Fish" appeared in her first book, North & South, of nineteen forty-six, and the witness calls it famous and much anthologized. Poems: North & South. A Cold Spring won the Pulitzer in nineteen fifty-six, and her last book, Geography III, came in nineteen seventy-seven.
